MetisX is a fabless startup to develop intelligent memory and
memory-centric computing architecture based on CXL (Compute Express Link).
“Metis” is an ancient Greek goddess of wisdom.
The Stoic commentators allegorized Metis as the embodiment of prudence,
wisdom, or wise counsel, in which form she was inherited by the Renaissance.
“X” is an abbreviation of Acceleration.
MetisX wants to give intelligence to memory and accelerate data-intensive
applications so that we can lead the renaissance of memory-centric computing.

CEO (Chief Executive Officer)
Jin Kim, 김진영
Jin Kim is the CEO and co-founder of MetisX.
He has been developing Memory-based solutions for 15+ years.
Before starting MetisX, Jin led SSD firmware and architecture development as Vice President at SK Hynix.
And he also worked at Samsung Electronics and SK Telecom.
He majored in Computer Science at Seoul National University.
As the CEO of MetisX, Jin tries his best to lead data center innovation around data and memory.
He has been developing Memory-based solutions for 15+ years.
Before starting MetisX, Jin led SSD firmware and architecture development as Vice President at SK Hynix.
And he also worked at Samsung Electronics and SK Telecom.
He majored in Computer Science at Seoul National University.

CTO (Chief Technology Officer)
Dohun Kim, 김도훈
Dohun Kim is the CTO and co-founder of MetisX.
He has 15+ years of experience developing 10+ SoCs.
He is highly specialized in microprocessors, cache, and memory subsystems.
Dohun was the 1st certified SoC Architect in SK Hynix, and has 40+ US patents.
He acquired an M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Kyungpook National University.
At MetisX, Dohun leads technology and SoC development.
He has 15+ years of experience developing 10+ SoCs.

Juhyun (Harry) Kim, 김주현
Harry Kim is the CPO and co-founder of MetisX.
He has expertise in HW-SW co-architecting,
with a strong background in both HW and SW for 15+ years.
Harry worked at SK Hynix, SK Telecom, and Samsung Electronics.
He acquired his B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University.
At MetisX, Harry is in charge of SW development and application acceleration.
He has expertise in HW-SW co-architecting,
with a strong background in both HW and SW for 15+ years.
Harry worked at SK Hynix, SK Telecom, and Samsung Electronics.
He acquired his B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University.
At MetisX, Harry is in charge of SW development and application acceleration.

Seohee (Aiden) Kim, 김서희
Aiden Kim is the CSO and co-founder of MetisX.
He has expertise in strategy, planning, investment, and financial research, with 10+ years of professional experience.
Aiden worked at GS Caltex, Woori Asset Management, and Mirae Asset Securities.
He graduated from Seoul National University, Department of Economics.
At MetisX, Aiden manages administration, finance, and strategy.
